2011 Ghost Walk has passed . . .

Held on Friday, October 7th & Saturday, October 8th

Everyone knows that one of the most popular Holidays in Jerome is Halloween. We hope you enjoyed a trip back in time. The 9th Annual Jerome Ghost Walk gave participants a chance to walk the streets of Jerome and witness re-enactments of famous scenes and personalities from Jerome's past.

History came alive at this years annual Jerome GHOST WALK. Participants strolled with the saucy spirits that occupied the historic "Billion Dollar Copper Camp." Our visitors celebrated the Grand Opening of the Jerome Ghost Hall of Fame. They saw the miners, madams and mayhem that earned Jerome the nickname, "The Wickedest City in the West." This years attendees dropped deep into a "vintage" copper mine, witness the aftermath of an explosion that shook the town to its core, listened to one of the pioneers of jazz tickle the ivories, and watch the bullets fly in a classic wild west showdown. The annual event sponsored by the Jerome Historical Society, the 9th annual Ghost Walk was performed on Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th. Shows began every half hour beginning at 6:00 PM until 10:30 PM. Make plans for next year's Ghost Walk, typically held the first Friday & Saturday in October. The Jerome Historical Society thanks everyone who participated this year.
